Alright people, today, my dog Bugs died and went to Heaven.

The other day, Wednesday, a rattlesnake got into my backyard at my dad's house and got under the shed. My Bugs, who did a great job protecting my other 2 dogs Harely and Sadie and Dad and Wes, got bit 3 times. Twice in the neck, and once by the ear. He was so strong! He lived until VERY early this morning. Dad and Wes made him comfortable, got some fluids in him, and got him some food and helped the swelling go down. It is amazing he lived that long, but he was always strong. He had been diagnosed with heartworms for 2 years at least and he was still strong and alive.

Of course, on Wednesday, Dad killed the snake with his gun and cut his head off.

I will miss him terribly. He was such a good dog and very protective. And at least he died with honor and glory. He protected everyone from the snake and gave his life for us. And I at least got to see him yesterday evening before he died. And I know he'll be looking after us in Heaven.

And, we're going to cremate him, just like we did with Jenny. TTT_TTT
